Sketch dump

Posting some sketches. Basically transferring them from my instagram posts. I realized that I've only been posting portfolio pieces on my "sketchblog". I already have a portfolio section so that makes these two blogs pretty redundant. Pfffhaha. So here's a dump.

Monster Hunter fan design

Designed a boss monster that might fit in with the rest of the monsters in that world as well as one of those fun little icons.

Cheers!

Ninja of Black Tide

B/W Sketch Brush test

Yara Greyjoy

Luke's Landspeeder Redesign

Klingon Godking

The Scarlet Duke - Steampunk Dragonfly

Mass Effect Fanart

The Challenge was to design stuff that would fit into The Mass Effect universe (with some liberties). I personally wanted to see a Biotic Warrior Monk similar in idea to Samara but more specific as well as a tough-as-nails Ninja Assassin with a Karambit knuckle knife.

Dota 2 Fanart

Some Dota 2 Fanart! Lina is a Tribal Fusion Belly Dancer with fire wheels.

And a take on Jakiro

Santa Claus the Red, The Wizard of Christmas

A LOTR and Narnia mash up. Threw in the sword of Aslan for Peter and Susan's bow.

Summer Project - Monkey King

This is a pitch project that probably won't be released and will remain un-named. However, because we still have the rights to the art work I can show this stuff without mentioning any specific names from the source material.

Cheers

BRISINGR! A personal take on Eragon

Eragon and Saphira ride into battle with a roar and a burst of flame.

The Knight, The Monk and The Assassin

Some character sketches to keep me warmed up. A german knight, Irish monk and a hashish smoking hashishan.

Cheers!

Sixty Horses In My Herd

Haven't done one of these in a while. Just wanted to show some Mongol love.

Was listening to some some Tuvan throat singing by Huun-huur-tu while painting this.

All praise the Skyfather! Cheers!

Scifi Sketch

This is an unresolved painting I did for Key Frames class taught by Joshua James Shaw. Fun stuff. Great Class.

Cheers

Maori Badass

Something I did for Carlo's Class a while back. Supposed to be a Tifa redesign running with the idea of a kung fu chick but i went with a Polynesian martial arts to mix it up a bit. hahaha
